This week's "Photo of the Week" was taken in Tarrytown, NY, while I was out and about. I once had a red Chow; however, she passed away 6 years ago, and I was extremely sad. Now, whenever I see a Chow, I'm reminded of fond memories of her, and how she brightened my life for 12 years. So, when I saw these puppies, my heart swooned. Don't you think they're cute & cuddly? I thought so! I hope you enjoy this "Photo of the Week". Click on image to enlarge.

PHOTO OF THE WEEK | SCARSDALE, NY LANDSCAPE
This week's "Photo of the Week" was taken near Scarsdale, NY, northbound on the Bronx River Parkway. The Bronx River Parkway was completed in 1925, and was the first modern, multi-lane limited-access parkway in North America. I couldn't resist a beautiful sunny day, with the flowing stream and beautiful green foliage. Click on image to enlarge. I hope you enjoy this "Photo of the Week".

PHOTO OF THE WEEK | "THE PLANE!...THE PLANE!"
This week's "Photo of the Week" is of an Alaskan airliner that I captured as it was landing at Newark Liberty International Airport, Newark, NJ. I've taken a few photos of planes flying overhead, but this was by far my best, as you can clearly read the logo. Click on image to enlarge. I hope you enjoy this "Photo of the Week".

PHOTO OF THE WEEK | SEAL
This week's "Photo of the Week" is of a seal catching a fish that was being fed to it by the trainer. It was taken at the Bronx Zoo, in Bronx, NY. I love the fact that I was able to capture the fish just as the seal was opening its mouth, so the fish is length-wise in the seal's mouth. Click on image to enlarge. I hope you enjoy this "Photo of the Week".

PHOTO OF THE WEEK | THE SHIELD
This week's "Photo of the Week" is of a family who were attempting to shield themselves from the sun. I like the uniqueness of capturing this shot, because the Mother was the only one uncovered. I hope you enjoy this "Photo of the Week".

PHOTO OF THE WEEK | SUNSET
This week's "Photo of the Week" was taken at Riverfront Green Park in Peekskill, NY. As we often do when the weather's nice, my Fiancé & I like to travel with our cameras, especially if we're just out driving. As a photographer...I can't help it. I purposely waited for the sun to start setting to capture this shot. I hope you enjoy this "Photo of the Week".

PHOTO OF THE WEEK | SIBERIAN TIGER
This week's "Photo of the Week" was taken at the Bronx Zoo in NY. I was asked after last week's photo whether I take photos of animals...so here's one that I love...a Siberian Tiger. It's almost as though he was waiting for me to take his close up! LOL I hope you enjoy this "Photo of the Week".

PHOTO OF THE WEEK | CHIHULY'S "THE SUN"
This week's "Photo of the Week" is by artist Dale Chihuly, who is an American glass sculptor. His work is on exhibition around the world, and this particular piece, "The Sun", was on exhibition at the Bronx Botanical Gardens in NY. You may have also seen his work displayed at the Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas. I love what he is able to achieve with glass and find his work inspiring. I hope you enjoy this "Photo of the Week".
